WHAT IS PREDICAMENT?
Predicament can be term as difficult, unpleasant, or embarrassing situation.
I can specifically point out two people and two times that men of the past has disappointed God, yet they pointed accused finger to God.
“…And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.” Genesis 2:1-22 NKJV.
God intention was to give Adam a help meet. but Adam turned around and indicted God in his predicament.
Adam failed to see how so low he has descended but he blame God.
“Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.” Genesis 3:9-12 NKJV
Adam negligence or whatever that may caused him to failed in his responsibilities surely cursed the humanity pain and the whole word are still paying the price till today except the ones that find solace in Jesus Christ.
2. JOB: “…Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” Job 1:6-8 NKJV
Again the intention of God was to showcase Job’s good standing in front of the enemy but that intention of God took a toll on Job, he was thinking that God gave and he took away until when the situation is no more bearable for him then he indicted God in His predicament. How?he cursed what God has made good and perfect.
“After this Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth. And Job spoke, and said: “May the day perish on which I was born, And the night in which it was said, ‘A male child is conceived.’ May that day be darkness; May God above not seek it, Nor the light shine upon it. May darkness and the shadow of death claim it; May a cloud settle on it; May the blackness of the day terrify it. As for that night, may darkness seize it; May it not rejoice among the days of the year, May it not come into the number of the months. Oh, may that night be barren! May no joyful shout come into it!” Job 3:1-7 NKJV
Can God make a mistake? No!
That’s men for you, because many of us don’t know the characteristics of God we keeps on falling for the enemy’s deceptions.
Without engaging the help of the Holy Spirit dealing with the enemy tactics may be very difficult.
WHAT IS YOUR OWN PREDICAMENT?
I can tell you clearly and boldly that if the result is not good, definitely it’s not God. Stop being religious.
In closing: Do you really think that God is the one that is causing your predicament or punishing you?
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10 NKJV
