THEIR “ARMOR” WILL LIMIT YOU DARE TO REJECT IT

OVERCOMING THE POWER OF LIMITATIONS

Face every situation in the might that God has endowed you with.

I Samuel 17: 38-40

Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David said, “I cannot go in these.

Why? “I am not used to them.’ So he took them off.

THEIR “ARMOR” WILL LIMIT YOU DARE TO REJECT IT

Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream and with his sling approached the Philistine.”

1. Saul doubted David’s ability to handle the task of defeating the giant.

2. Saul’s desire to have David wear his armor was an attempt to turn David into a status quo warrior.

3. David’s choice to remove the armor, took his staff, chosen stones and his sling reflects a leader using what God has instilled or entrusted in him or her instead of adopting unnecessary strategies.

The choices are yours choose wisely to go in your strength or theirs. But remember that no one is permitted to limit you if you truly knows your whort in God.
