Perverted Generation

What did Jesus mean by “perverted generation?

Text: Matthew 17:14-21

First, to answer this question, we must know the meaning of perverted and generation, coupled with where Jesus was coming from.
1. What is a pervert? While I am not an English scholar, I do know that to pervert something means merely to corrupt it. An example will be the present generation of Christians, so when you think of pervert, think of change for the worse.
Feel free to prove me wrong out of the 10 people that gave testimony in the church that they are healed, only 1 that God heal is still sustaining his or her healing. Why because that one may not be part of rituals, traditions and bishops cloth craziness. Dare to look around for the rest nine some have died, while some are still costing along with lies in their pains.
2. What is generation? It may mean a group of people born and living at different dispensation.
An example may be that of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob generation.
“Lord, have mercy on my son.” When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him…
Let us look at the similarity in many of our churches of this generation and the world. The worldly people need our help and are rushing into many of our churches for rescue, but our churches could not rescue them, except that we have mastered the act of sharing chicken and many other material things in replacement of what the people actually need.
When I say churches could not help, brethren it is not a slip of the tongue.
How could someone with 50 hectares of land ran to Christ disciples for succor and nothing happened except that they cunningly collected his or her 50 hectares of land for the healing he or she did not receive, In the name of sowing “seed” for “miracle healing” What’s going on?
How much did Jesus Christ collect from the people of His day before He heals them?
What we Christ disciples of this generation needs to know is that we cannot keep on telling people to be pretending that they are healed after they had sown “monetary seed for miracle healing” for the sake of raking in more ignorant members into our congregations.
However, instead of the sick people to be free, many are actually dying of sicknesses due to their ignorant, thinking that once they sow a seed to one Bishop, their case is settled.
You cannot pay for a miracle. And divine healing is not by pretending that you’re healed, divine healing always come by divine intervention.
Note: If you’re a Christ follower it is the power of God that heals, ‘in the name of Jesus walk” healing is not in the clothes, shoes or title of any man of God. That is synonymous with idol worshipping.
Why will a Christian that is still begging his doctor to have mercy upon him to give some more medication on credit be testifying to others in the church that when a Bishop lay hands upon him, he’s totally healed? Is that a lie or faith? Or maybe “faith lie.”
It is about time we allow people to know the veracity of the power of our God, and let them experience the power by themselves instead of lying and leading many people to their untimely death.
Why do you think the doctors will not jack up the medical bills? Since the doctors have noticed that this perverted generation of Christians is only using them to cover up their atrocities. The next thing for them is to partner with Pastors and Bishops to rake in more money.

Now let’s go back to the reason why Jesus Christ will call His followers perverted.

17 And Jesus answered and said, “You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was cured at once…

DO CHRISTIANS STILL HAVE THIS TYPE OF POWER TO REBUKE?

If yes, why are you paying for what has been given to you freely? If you go to many of our churches today, it is like you go to the hospital that the doctors will ask you to go and pay for the medical care that you have not yet receive. What is going on?
