“Men prepare a meal for enjoyment, and wine makes life merry, and money is the answer to everything.” Ecclesiastes 10:19 NASB.
That is not the truth! When we were in Capernaum in Israel we may call that place Jesus Christ ministry headquarter. I asked Jesus Christ many things about what transpired in Jerusalem and I got the answers before we left Israel. That gives us more confident and not sentiment about what we’re doing.
MONEY IS NECESSARY BUT IT CANNOT ANSWER EVERYTHING
Though we may need money to buy many things in truth money can’t answer to everything. If it does, then Jesus will not advise someone to sell all he has accumulated before he can follow Him. “When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
For example, Many people said to us that we supposed to be making money with the opportunities that God is given to us. They may be right but they just don’t have a good understanding of where we were coming from. We had done it before but Jesus Christ brought us out from it. Moreover, a minister of the gospel doesn’t suppose to be taking advantage of every opportunity to the detriment of the children of God.
The most important thing is that God has given us specific instruction and we have vowed that we will do exactly what He has instructed.
When Jesus was advising His disciples, what He said to them clearly was “tarry, that means don’t go until you’re endowed with power from on high” He did not mention money. But He mentions this to them about money, “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.” Luke 16:13 NASB.
BRETHREN, MONEY DOES NOT ANSWER TO EVERYTHING FAVOR OF GOD DOES
When the Lord calls us into Ministry He told us specifically that we shouldn’t beg anyone for financial support, He said money is the least we should worry about and we believed Him. But how are we going to get our needs met since it’s money that answers to everything? But guess what, Since then we have not lacked any good thing because many people have shown us the compassion of Christ more than what we can imagine without manipulating anyone. Including our traveling to Jerusalem.
1. The set of chairs we’re presently using in our house today was given by a Brother. That brother called me multiple times and he couldn’t get hold of me and he said, and I quote, I have called you several times in other to ask you if you need sets of chairs and many other things. But when I couldn’t get hold of you I have given every other thing to someone else. However, I have decided to rent a storage and keep the set chair there for you. And he concluded, if you don’t need the chairs you can give it to any of your members.” Why would I not need something we’ve been trusting God for many years?
2. The car that we’re presently using was also given by a man that is listening to God instructions too.
3. The place that we’re presently using for worship was given by a Church that looks beyond religiosity or color. All these are without begging or manipulation.
Why should any Christians turn money to God because King Solomon said so?
If anyone wants to stand in the gap for GOD truly money should be the least on your agenda because it cannot replace YOUR OBEDIENCE.
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple. Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? And if not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace. So, therefore, any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple”. Luke 14:26-33.
In conclusion, who are you listening to, Solomon or Jesus? Money doesn’t answer to everything. Your readiness to renounce everything that you have accumulated wrongly according to the Holy Spirit’s direction Will do you a great favor. Good morning.
