It Is Not Rhetoric

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.” Matthew‬ ‭10:8-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Many people thought and said that it is rhetoric, some say it is when we get to heaven, I suppose it is right here, right now and it’s real. This is not figurative speech at all; it’s real!

However, no one can follow Christ based on their terms; we must follow Him, base our choices on His commands.

Yes, His Commandment

“…and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing. John 9:7

If you will not believe or follow the command of the one you’re seeking help from, you don’t need that person’s advice. So stop draining others.

The woman with the issue of blood said ”If I may but touch the hem of his garment” she did not say the helm of his disciple’s garments.

WHOSE GARMENT ARE YOU TOUCHING?

Is it John Hagee’s or TB Joshua’s garment you’re touching or Christ?

Are you worshiping Adeboye’s chair for deliverance or Oyedepo’s pictures for prosperity?

Are you kissing the rings of Morris Cerullo for healing or Yongi Cho shoes for anointing?

Enough of your foolishness don’t turn any man of God to an Idol.

Allow the Holy Spirit to give you direction on what to do on every issue and believe in Him. Don’t turn yourself to a prayer project or prayer collector and men of God’s worshipers.

Believe me; Christ followers don’t need fifty prayer warriors, prayer groups or prayer lines to push God into action.

We only need effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man to strengthen us when we are weak or weary to enhance us and remind us of God’s faithfulness and covenant.

How would I know that righteous man?

It depends on how you give the Holy Spirit a chance in your life and limit your shopping for righteous men or prayer partners and stick to those God has connected you with divinely, to strengthen each other.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”(2 Corinthians 5:21)

Forget the former things

In other words, your prayer partner or partners must be genuinely born again to know what they’re entitled to in Christ, if not you will continue with old law fallacies and rituals. No matter which denomination you belong to, if you need a supernatural touch of Christ you must first drop your religion and comply with Christ terms and His term is not in forms of doctrines. It’s FAITH.

When the people at the wedding in Cana of Galilee needed wine, Jesus mother had to tutor those servants in which manner Christ operates, because she knew Him very well.

His mother, “said to the servants, Whatever He means to you, do it.

“But Jesus Christ has ascended to heavens now how I would ask Him for necessary instructions?

He said He would not leave us as orphans

Therefore in John 14:16 He says,

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever.”

Do you see General Overseer, Bishop or old prophets in the above scripture?

The question we should be asking each other now is, how can we know if the instructions and directions we are receiving are from the Holy Spirit”?

Lord Jesus, I come unto you this morning, please give your people the spirit of illumination and understanding of your words in Christ name I ask. Amen.

Remain blessed.
