What Sin Had Hezekiah Committed?
Once upon a time, Hezekiah was so sick up to the point of death. However, God revived him though He already asked Isaiah to pronounce him dead.
After God had revived him Like many other people will say ”we’re celebrating life” Hezekiah also celebrated life with the ones that don’t care about him whether he was dead or alive when he was sick.
I pray that you will not celebrate your next generation’s future with insensitivity in the name of Jesus.
Taking extra caution after God has delivered you from shackles of death is not a bad idea, It is not a weakness or lack of love either If you refuse to give those ”prayer warriors” access into your life when you’re reconnected with God.
It will save you and your future generation from an additional problem.
You Must Be Ready To Say No When The Holy Spirit Ask You To Do So.
Remember, Everyone Will Run After You When You’re Victorious Or Have A Breakthrough, but many of them are not happy.
However, you must take extra caution before accepting anyone or offer into your life without the Holy Spirit direction or approval.
Jesus Carefully Made The Holy Ghost Vettings Too In Everything He Does.
”In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’ ” Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying, “Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.” II Kings 20:1-5 NKJV.
Was it because God cannot heal Hezekiah, that’s why He wanted him to die? No!
It may be because God knew that his nonchalant attitude would destroy his lifetime allegiance to Him and His next generation.
Anyway, Who am I to be teaching the religious scholars with Ph.D. in Theology.
However, my point is, Christians should be careful about what they will accept, do or go.
If the Holy Spirit said no, and you answer yes, that maybe the last yes you will respond to for the rest of your life.
“And he said, “What have they seen in your house?” So Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.” Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD: ‘Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,’ says the LORD. ‘And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ II Kings 20:15-18 NKJV.
Be determined to say no when you have got the confirmation from the Holy Spirit even when everyone around you is saying yes. It will save you from future trouble.
I pray that will not be our portion in Jesus name.
